I have downloaded windows Vista Beta2 as an iso file. Is there any free tool which wil extract that iso. I wish to extract and keep the files on my drive and run the setup program to upgrade my windows XP sp2 with Vista.
Is such upgrade possible.
I am using free version of isobuster but it's asking me license to extract this vista iso file.
thanks

or you could install and use DAEMON Tools.. just mount the iso file and when the install screen - just cancel. Then use windows explorer to read the contents of the iso file - there you can copy the files to your HD kl

If you do upgrade from XP SP2 to Vista Beta 2 and decide you don't like it, don't be supprized if you want to go back to XP SP2 and can't. "abcd" wrote in message

Yes. It's a free program; and you can find it here: http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php It's the download page and you just select Category: DAEMON Tools and on the next page Download: DAEMON Tools 4.0.3 X86 which is the version that works for Windows Vista and other 32-bit OS'ses.
